The patterns that bring people to therapy rarely feel like patterns at first — they feel like other people, bad luck, or just the way things are. But when you find yourself in the same painful dynamics again and again — in relationships, at work, or in how you communicate with the people who matter most — something deeper is usually worth looking at. My clients are adults who are ready to do that looking honestly, and who want real, practical tools for change, not just insight. Many are navigating relationship and communication difficulties, chronic pain or illness, or the unique stress of working in healthcare.

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) combined with mindfulness practices and practical communication skills. I also draw on books, film, TV, and pop culture — sometimes seeing a pattern play out on screen or on the page makes it click in a way nothing else does. Sessions are via HIPAA-compliant telehealth.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience, a Mayo Clinic Caring Communication in Healthcare certification, and specialized training in chronic pain, healthcare provider burnout, and relationship and communication difficulties. I accept Highmark, BCBS, and Aetna PPO plans.

I provide virtual sessions to individuals residing in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York as well as all other PSYPACT states.
